Kelly Services Admission Advisor in Brampton, Ontario

Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a client in Brampton, Ontario

Title: Admission Advisor

Location: 7955 Torbram Road, Unit 16

Brampton, ON. L6T 5B9.

Pay rate: $18-$22/hour

As an Admissions Advisor, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Following up the prospective students' leads received from the website, social media , walkins , phone calls and previous students' referrals via emails, phone calls and text messages using the school provided CRM system.

  • Contacting leads (prospective students) and booking school tours with them.

  • Meeting with prospective students, counselling with program information, and conducting admissions interviews.

  • Performing a needs analysis

  • Explaining program details, including course information, tuition, attendance requirements, job opportunities after their graduation , funding options available to them , prerequisites, and more with an aim too achieve close to 15% leads to enrolments conversion rate to meet the monthly financial goal of $250,000 worth of enrolments for healthcare programs (Massage Therapy Diploma, Personal Support Worker Certificate and Ayurveda programs).

  • Liaising with funding agencies and other community stakeholders.

  • Using a lead management system to stay on top of all leads

  • Enrolling students

  • Encouraging students to attend regularly at the campus and stay focused on their studies.

  • Providing emotional support to students

  • Creating and maintaining an excellent learning environment for students.

  • Aliging batch formation from the new students to start a new class efficiently. Minimum 6 students are required to form a new batch.

  • Submitting weekly feedback on the number of students enrolled in respective programs and the gross fees amount for the enrolments.

  • Networking with employers and government agencies, newcomer centers and building partnerships with healthcare facilities for students placement and employment opportunities.

Applicants should meet the following minimum qualifications

  • A University Degree or College Diploma from a recognized Canadian institution (international qualifications may be considered) Excellent customer service skills - Excellent communication skills includes phone conversations and Email writing Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite , especially Word , Excel and PowerPoint Advanced knowledge of Internet , Email marketing and using CRM Willingness to learn new things

  • Two years' face-to-face sales experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role at Post Secondary Ontario Career College offering healthcare programs.

The following qualifications will be considered an asset : Experience working with adults in an educational environment Experience working in a Private Career College preferably as an admissions professional

Experience: Face to face Sales: 2 years

Working Hours Tuesday – Saturday 11 AM to 6:30 PM
