Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated and capable Warehouse Associates to join our team and support our company's warehouse operations. As a Material Handler/Cherry Picker you will be responsible for tasks such as shipping, receiving, packing, and other warehouse activities. Job Specifications:

- Job Type: Temp to Hire

- Location: Kent, WA

- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

- Shift: 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Unload goods delivered and ensure they match the provided information (quantity, due date, etc.)

  • Input goods into the system, batch each box as required, and pass samples and paperwork to Inspection

  • Organize and store goods in picking or pallet locations, or transfer them to boxing or subcontract operations

  • Repackage bulk products into smaller quantities as per company or customer requirements

  • Fill boxing machine hoppers as necessary and manage waste

  • Move boxed goods to designated storage locations

  • Generate dispatch notes, picking lists, and labels as needed

  • Resolve discrepancies during the picking process and notify the line manager of potential stock issues

  • Confirm that the items picked correspond to the items described on the note

  • Pack items securely and ensure they remain undamaged during transportation

  • Arrange for the issuance of certification as detailed on the picking note

  • Load goods onto transport within specified deadlines

  • Operate various warehouse equipment to reach high locations

  • Utilize the current ERP system for inventory management

  • Print labels using handheld/physical printers and include batch numbers

  • Participate in cleaning equipment and maintaining the facility

  • Use mobile scanners/tablet devices for inventory receiving and picking

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

  • Some overtime may be required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Picker/Cherry Picker is preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the day

  • Basic math, writing, and tracking skills

  • Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and operating machinery

  • Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory management

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role

  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required, including steel-toed boots

  • Resume/BIO interview required
