The Operations Specialist ensures our Research and Development scientists receive the requested product in a timely manner.

What’s a typical day as a Operations Specialist? You’ll be

• Work in SharePoint to fulfill order requests from RD&A for materials they require to complete customer samples.

• Search database for on-hand inventory.

• Generate Purchase and Customer Orders via SAP.

• Complete receiving process for orders that are sent from vendors and other locations.

• Code receiving documents to the appropriate department for inventory adjustments.

• Maintain and adjust orders as needed according to RD&A needs and plant capabilities.

• Assist with ordering for common stock inventory.

• Create indirect purchase orders and follow invoicing process

• Cross train on the sample process and other adjoining department duties

• Demonstrates a firm command of technology deployed and end use applications

• Supports the use of standardized Processes

• Specific Skill Requirements

• Education: High School degree

• Technical: Microsoft Office

• Analytical skills

• Proficiency of computer

• Customer Order Processes

• Type 50 WPM Salesforce

• PO applications

• Accounting fundamentals

• SharePoint
