Kelly Services RD&A Sensory Technician in Beloit, Wisconsin

Kelly is hiring a RD&A Sensory Technician for one of our food manufacturing clients in Beloit, WI

  • Pay: $20-25/hr

  • M-F 8am-5:00pm except Friday which you leave at 12pm

  • 3 month contract to cover someone on medical leave

The role entails assisting the Sensory and Research teams in test preparation and execution (cooking, preparing and portioning food and tasting solutions) This will also include instructing on how to evaluate and serving food to others. Other responsibilities are maintaining and managing stock of materials: cups, utensils, food, and taste chemicals. Role will include collaboration with the Sensory team and may include customer interactions for building tours, etc.

Day to day activities will be in a lab environment which includes wearing appropriate PPE: lab coat, gloves, and hair net. Accuracy and previous experience in prepping and weight materials in a lab setting are preferred. Attention to detail is required in the role and the ability to follow detailed procedures.

On occasion additional responsibilities will include taking notes and attending tastings.

Sensory or Quality Control experience required.

Monday 8am - 5 pm

Tuesday 8am - 5 pm

Wednesday 8am - 5 pm

Thursday 8am - 5 pm

Friday 8am - noon
