Kelly Services Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Billerica, Massachusetts
Seeking an action-oriented Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop manufacturing processes, deploy tools/fixtures, execute new and existing product releases , maintain project schedules, and provide manufacturing procedures and related documentation to produce semiconductor capital equipment.
The technology that our client develop is used by leading semiconductor companies to power the next generation of electronic devices for IoT, (Internet of Things), mobile phones, and other connected devices. Their equipment is used in high-speed wafer processing, and incorporates mechanical, fluid, vacuum, and automation subsystems. Essentially, their products help make electronic devices smaller, faster, and more powerful to improve the quality of lives.
Support the overall delivery of the supplier base, the production footprint, corresponding manufacturing processes, product flow, including aftermarket service flow, reverse logistics, and parts for service
Develops new manufacturing processes, work instructions , test methods, and relevant documentation
Assists with developing manufacturing assemblies and fixtures within Solid Works, emphasizing the elimination of human error
Qualifies test fixtures and test equipment to ensure test systems are capable of providing accurate and reliable results
Collaborates with external suppliers, as required
Monitors project status and provides reports and presentations to engineering and program management
Recommends improvements for cost effectiveness and reliability/quality improvements
Identifies and communicates changes that enhance product or manufacturing processes
Collaborates across internal departments, as well as external vendors and suppliers
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, coupled with 5-8 years' experience or a Master's degree in a relevant Engineering field with more than 2 years' experience.
Must be able to occasionally work in a clean-room environment and wear required personal protective equipment
Demonstrated knowledge of product documentation release and life cycle management
Prior experience working with and testing electro-mechanical assemblies and capital equipment preferred
Proven experience in Project Management
Self-motivated individual with good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate across functions internally and externally to accomplish objectives
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs. independently
May occasionally work in a clean-room environment; must be able to wear clean room gowns and required personal protective equipment when needed
