Kelly Services Chemistry Lab Technician in Brantford, Ontario
Check raw ingredients, in-process and finished products for safety, quality and nutritional value
Study methods to improve aspects of foods such as chemical composition, flavour, colour, texture, nutritional value, and convenience
Confer with process technologists, plant operators, flavour experts, and packaging and specialists in order to resolve problems in product manufacturing
Inspect food processing areas in order to ensure compliance with government regulations and standards for sanitation, safety, quality, and waste management standards
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry or equivalent is a must
4-6 years’ experience working in a lab within the food processing or similar industry
Knowledge of and compliance with GMP's, HACCP, etc
