Kelly® is looking for a Cellar Technician to work at E & J Gallo Winery, a premier winery in Canandaigua, NY. Snapshot:

Pay Rate: $17.81 / hour

Schedule: Sunday night into Friday morning

Hours: 11PM-7:30AM

Bonus: $300 sign on bonus after 90 days on assignment

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity

What’s a typical day as a Cellar Technician? You’ll be:

• Supporting the cellar operation by completing tank sanitation, sampling, blending, and fermentation maintenance under general supervision

• Operating designated machine centers and entering data into the wine inventory database

• Safely and efficiently operating assigned equipment to meet production goals

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards

• Conducting routine production reporting and quality checks

• Performing in-process and final production quality control and verification checks

• Demonstrating situational awareness and a sense of urgency on the production floor

• Communicating effectively with team members, leadership, and other departments

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Have at least one year of experience in wine production or manufacturing

• Have forklift certification and experience operating a forklift

• Are able to wear a respirator when necessary

• Have basic reading, writing, and math skills

• Are physically capable of executing job tasks within the production facilities, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights and in small areas

• Are able to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events as needed
