Kelly Services Financial Performance Monitoring Principal in Chicago, Illinois

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8AM-5:00pm

3 days onsite at the Chicago location, 2 days remote

Primary Responsibilities and qualifications needed:

  • Financial analysis of projects, who can do budgets/forecasts/variance analysis

  • Understand how the financials reflect and predict the activity going on in the project/program

  • Record-keeping – large amounts of project data that needs to be manually maintained, with changes/updates being carefully and accurately tracked

  • Meeting with Business Leaders to review results/analysis

  • Understanding input from Leaders, accurately keeping the records of financial data and notes

  • Developing/drawing inferences from the data/financials – and able to understand and articulate likely scenarios that can be expected

  • Having a discussion with Leaders about the correct steps forward

What’s a typical day as a Financial Performance Monitoring & Reporting Principal? You’ll be:

• Analyzing complex enterprise portfolio problems and issues using data from internal and external sources

• Providing expert insight and analysis to decision-makers

• Advising the enterprise portfolio on strategic direction and financial projections

• Designing and developing models, studies, and databases to support financial outcome analyses

• Leading and performing complex analysis and reviews

• Creating reporting and preparing documents and data for monitoring portfolio performance

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics

• Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, financial analysis, financial consulting, or insurance industry economics

• Have advanced PC proficiency in Excel, Access, or similar software

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills • Have experience working cross-functionally and leading projects

• Have negotiation and influencing skills
