Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Geologist III for a direct-hire position at a premier client in Colombus or Lancaster or Philadelphia, PA. Salary: $58,000-$75,000

Overview
In this role you’ll be working with the technical services team to interpret and document geologic and hydrogeologic data, as well as the writing of environmental reports.
Responsibilities:
Prepare moderate-complexity reports with minimal revisions, in addition to writing and reviewing of environmental reports
QA/QC review of environmental field data
Supervise and oversee field projects, including preparation and editing of figures and development of conceptual site models
Work with multiple stakeholders to assist them in meeting their reporting deadlines
Provide field support for hydrogeologic testing (pump test/slug testing)
Competently review field documentation for accuracy and completeness
Competent in preparing Potentiometric Surface Maps, isoconcentration maps, and cross-sections
Assists with research for litigation support cases
Independently prepare “contained-in” requests and other documents related to disposal of site waste
Be a technical resource for geologic evaluations (soil, water, and vapor)
Provide quality control review of geology related items (e.g. geologic interpretations, cross sections, conceptual site models, soil classification, boring logs, etc.)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Geology or an allied discipline
Five years of relevant industry experience with preference for remediation background
Must obtain or be able to obtain a signatory credential recognized in the State of PA, such as LPG, CHMM, Soil Scientist, or PE
Preferred Credentials - LPG, CHMM, a Soil Scientist, or a PE Soil Scientist
Basic understanding of environmental regulatory guidance for key Federal program
Able to manage budgets and timelines of low complexity tasks/projects
Understand and apply the rules related to the generation and disposal of investigation-derived waste
