GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR 1ST SHIFT RF TESTING & ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN IN EAGLEVILLE, PA | 7AM-3:30PM, MONDAY-FIDAYF | $28-$32 PER HOUR

Kelly® is seeking an Electronics Technician to work at a premier company safety lighting company in Eagleville, PA where the pay is $28-$32 per hour based upon experience.

What’s a typical day as an Electronics Technician? You’ll be:

• Applying electronic theory and knowledge to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic equipment.

• Testing RF emissions and susceptibility of new products and writing final reports for each product.

• Setting up test equipment, conducting measurements, verifying/calibrating instruments, and collecting data for operational and EMI/EMC testing.

• Testing sample LEDs, reflectors, batteries, and related components.

• Operating measurement equipment according to industry standards for data collection.

• Supporting engineering with ANSI testing of existing and new products.

• Designing and setting up standard test apparatus and special-purpose test equipment and circuitry.

• Conducting functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability.

• Performing calculations using Ohm's law and power formulas.

• Analyzing data and writing professional technical reports to describe operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviation from design specifications, and functional limitations.

• Recommending changes in circuitry or specifications to improve reliability, function, assembly, and reduce costs.

• Developing test procedures in consultation with engineering and documenting and storing data.

• Discussing procedures and problems with Electronics Engineer and writing clear and accurate reports.

• Assisting Quality Control with developing electrical and electronic test procedures and performing routine testing of production components and assemblies.

• Maintaining the electronics lab and its equipment and records.

• Assisting Production, Returns, and Repair Departments with repair and improvement of products.

• Performing related duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of an Associate degree in a related discipline plus at least five years of directly related experience.

• Are familiar with EMI/EMC test equipment and procedures.

• Have knowledge of application and testing of batteries, LEDs, and battery charging circuitry; microprocessor experience is a plus.

• Possess knowledge of lumen and candlepower measurements.

• Can use all standard electronic test equipment as well as specialized RF test equipment.

• Are proficient in soldering conventional and surface mount components and operating standard shop equipment.

• Have the ability to read and understand complex technical instructions, schematic diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

• Can communicate and interface effectively with all levels of technical personnel.

• Have experience with designing and building circuits for functional test equipment.

• Can maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Can work with only general guidance.
