• Pay Rate : $20.00/Hour

What’s a typical day as a Forklift Yard Associate? You'll be:

• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to appropriate associates for processing.

• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked, checked, and shipped.

• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code

• Operating material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as required

• Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.

• Maintain a clean, well-organized, safe working environment.

• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate process.

• Assisting in counting of physical inventory and conducting regular cycle counts.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED

• Have previous warehouse and/or forklift experience

• Can go up and down stairs to monitor and adjust equipment, able to lift 80 pounds, walking or standing for long periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching in any direction

• Have strong verbal communication skills
