Kelly Services Turnaround Material/Infrastructure Coordinator in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Kelly Engineering is currently seeking a Turnaround Material/Infrastructure Coordinator for the Dow site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB!

Title: Turnaround Material/Infrastructure Coordinator

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta T8L 2P4

Contract Length: 12 months plus.

Schedule: 4/10 (Monday to Thursday) + Overtime

Job description:

Role expectations:

  • Process purchase order requests for materials specified in PM (plant maintenance) orders (SAP).

  • Obtains vendor quotes for purchase ordered materials.

  • Utilizes AM/SL (Acceptable Manufacturer/Supplier List) for vendor selection.

  • Monitor and communicate purchase order and delivery status to the TA Cost Tracker, TA Planner and TA Coordinator

  • Confirms material order status and in stock availability and then updates the PM (plant maintenance) order user status in SAP.

  • Confirms Long Leadtime delivery items will arrive on site in time to meet the TA requirement date.

  • Collaborate with Turnaround Team to resolve any issues which impact material availability and delivery.

  • Track and expedite materials, tools, and equipment orders to meet TA requirement date.

  • Arrange to have materials, tools and equipment spotted in the field or organized in the parts trailer.

  • Processes repair and refurbishment of part or equipment for off-site repair

  • Set up a plot plan to identify office and welfare needs.

  • Understand local jurisdiction permitting needs.

  • Applying for and attaining applicable permits from local jurisdiction

  • Work with Process Safety Rep. and EH&S to get LPP12.8 approval for all TA buildings and facilities.

  • Create and own MOC for facility placements.

  • Set up janitorial services for all building throughout TA duration.

  • Set up utilities as needed-water, sewer, port-a-potties etc.

  • Work with Site Infrastructure personnel to provide furniture to staff and offices for TA needs.

  • Work with ES&S to develop a traffic plan to control traffic during all stages of the TA.

  • Work with electrical technician to identify and set up all electrical feed to all facilities.

  • Work with IT Dept to develop a project for all IT needs in all building identified as needing phone, computer, and printer needs.

Safety requirements:

  • Must have relatively clean driver’s abstract; must be able to climb stairs and ladders.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Must work well in team atmosphere.
