Kelly Services Payroll Administrator in Freeport, Texas

Responsibilities

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for facilitating the full payroll cycle for Client US locations

This includes reviewing payroll to ensure that data is accurate and up to date, assisting employees with payroll questions, and problem solving any errors or issues.

This role will also provide support to the HR Generalists as needed, including preparing a variety of reports, and supporting the new hire process.

Process data and time for bi-weekly payroll of exempt and non-exempt US employees Process new hires, changes, and separations in SAP and provide back up to Data Administrator Submit payroll data to ADP for processing Review, spot check and finalize payroll data within deadline to ensure on-time pay deposits Able to explain, calculate and review all non-standard pay types such as overtime pay, holiday pay, etc

Respond to employee pay or time questions in a timely manner Back up Canada and Global Payroll Administrator as needed Understand all payroll deductions (taxes, benefits, etc) and ensures proper processing and remittance Support the Finance team with data uploads and queries as required Develop and deliver both scheduled and ad hoc reports Communicate changes to payroll deadlines as needed Work with compensation focal point to process all global compensation program changes, including:

Create and maintain employee files Review/audit entries completed by other Payroll Administrators for accuracy and reasonableness Request ADP access for new employees and HR team members as required/needed Prepare and finalize pay schedules annually Complete year end activities such as reconcile vacation and review W2's Support HR Generalists with their needs in recruiting, job postings, interview schedules, reference checking, etc.
