Kelly Services Operational Cost Analyst- Remote in Greenville, South Carolina

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $28.50/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8a-5pm

Location: Remote (EST time zone preferred)

What’s a typical day as an Operational Cost Analyst? You’ll be:

• Managing Rail Unplanned Cost Inputs in the system of record (i.e., railcar storage, demurrage, empty revenue moves, etc.) and processing receiving inputs from Sourcing and outputting as planned project costs in the system.

• Managing and overseeing usage for Storage, Transit Yards, and supporting Port operations.

• Capturing, tracking, and validating outbound logistics costs for LSPs including Rail, Port, Storage, and Transit Yard operations.

• Monitoring usage at all transit yards.

• Updating the system of record with Project Planned Costs based on planned usage.

• Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to establish best practices for receiving and tracking costs.

• Reviewing and approving Transit Yard OT requests as needed to support truck/rail plan.

• Problem-solving when LSP invoices do not match usage.

• Creating and maintaining documented work instructions for tracking cost.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management.

• Have 4+ years of experience working in Finance or Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Are able to connect and communicate across all levels of internal colleagues/stakeholders.

• Have advanced proficiency in MS Excel and moderate proficiency in all other MS Office programs.

• Are fluent and proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Have 2+ years of experience in data, operational, and financial analysis.

• Have the capability to learn new software quickly and integrate knowledge into solutions.

• Have the ability to multitask in a demanding work environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, both proactive and reactive.

• Have strong analytical skills.

• Have good oral and written communication skills.
