What’s a typical day as a Training Coordinator? You’ll be:

• Communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.

• Managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting all training programs.

• Developing training plans for organizational changes in line with business needs.

• Assessing training needs by department and individual.

• Presenting training topics to all levels within the organization.

• Assisting department leaders in defining positions relative to the tasks, skills, and knowledge required for each.

• Helping standardize progression paths and wage rates for hourly growth.

• Identifying and purchasing effective training media.

• Assisting in the development of operating procedures for employee training.

• Assessing the availability of outside training and funding sources.

• Developing the training skills of personnel to facilitate training.

• Coordinating training documentation requirements.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of experience.

• Have experience in training and design preferred.

• Have manufacturing experience preferred.

• Have solid organization and planning skills.

• Are self-starting with a strong work ethic.

• Have strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

• Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to present.

• Have business writing skills.

• Have demonstrated ability to develop interactive training programs.

• Have the ability to utilize multiple media platforms for training facilitation.
