Server Hardware Support Technician

Hillsboro, Oregon

Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm

Pay Starts: $27/hr W2

Pre-production Sever Hardware Support Technician R esponsibili ties:

• Work closely with engineers and customer base in building, testing, updating, and debugging server hardware.

• Installation of server HW components.

• Troubleshooting/debugging serverhardware components.

• Updating/flashing Bios, CPLD.

• HW Upgrades to bare nodes.

• Linux CLI.

• KVM & PDU setup and troubleshooting.

• PXE Server Build.

• Excel spreadsheet entries.

• Jira / ServiceNow ticketing.

Qualifications:

• Experienced in the support of pre-production server hardware components.

• Must understand server hardware components and their functions.

• Must have good Linux command line skills.

• Must have prior server hardware lab experience and/or data center experience,troubleshooting servers.

• Experience with Dediprog.

• Understanding of Networking.

• Experience with ticketing (preferably Jira or ServiceNow).

• Skilled with MS Office and MS Excel.

• Prior client lab experience preferred.
