Kelly Services Controls Engineering Technician in Macon, Georgia

Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Controls Engineering Technician for our growing client in Macon, GA . This client is doubling their production and needs to add to the team! As a Controls Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our manufacturing processes across multiple production lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, focusing on controls systems and automation.

  • Assist in project planning and resource management using project management software.

  • Help design, implement, and maintain HMI, servo, and programming systems.

  • Support MES and PLC-based hardware/software operations.

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of industrial controls, process controls, and robotics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Assist in developing and implementing programming solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Use MES for data analysis and process optimization.

  • Work with automation products, specializing in motion control, servo, and vision systems.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in high-speed manufacturing, preferably in the consumer goods industry.

  • Familiarity with project management software.

  • Basic technical knowledge of controls systems and automation.

  • Experience with HMI, servo, and programming systems.

  • Understanding of MES and PLC-based hardware/software.

  • Hands-on experience in industrial controls, process controls, and robotics.

  • Familiarity with MES systems.

  • Knowledge of automation products, including motion control, servo, and vision systems.
