Kelly Services Test Technicians in Milpitas, California

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology and Telecom is currently seeking Test Technicians for a long-term engagement at a premier Medical Device Optical Solutions Manufacturing client in Milpitas, CA.

We are seeking highly experienced Test Technician professionals with industry experience.

Test Technicians

You will be responsible for executing product performance test protocols and recording the results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently execute manufacturing or manufacturing-support processes according to standard operating procedures and current curriculum.

  • Support schedule adjustments to meet production, material receipt, and shipping requirements; Review visual schedule.

  • Conducting several procedures in the system to assist with testing lifetime usage.

  • Running a diagnostic check on the system utilizing the provided necessary external tools.

  • Entering/reporting data into internal software and in online forms and adhering to testing timelines.

  • Demonstrating potential identified issues to team members such as the NPI QA, R&D, and Validation teams.

  • Assemble, repair, inspect, and test products, and assemblies following written instructions.

  • _Should have good time management, the ability to hit deadlines as well as an understanding of Excel (data entry only). _

  • Set up and operate a variety of machines or equipment following written instructions.

  • Maintain tools and equipment per documented procedures.

  • Record information on approved documents.

  • _Must be able to navigate online forms and follow directions to use electronic products. _

  • Candidate will learn to work with specific test equipment, quick learner.

  • _They will be running about 60 treatments and then conducting CTQ testing in a loop. _

  • This is repetitive work.

  • Proactively maintain a clean and safe work environment. Take necessary action to eliminate safety hazards and communicate to others any observed unsafe behaviors.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Offer suggestions and follow up on process improvements related to safety, compliance, cost, yield and productivity.

  • Carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA and OSHA

  • Adhere to the safety code of Conduct & EHS policies and attend all required EHS training.

  • Follow Leadership Imperatives based on their leadership level within the organization (individual leader)

  • Support the ongoing production schedule by Reporting to work on time and according to the shift schedule.

  • Attend departmental and other scheduled meetings.

  • Practice good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrate a positive team-oriented approach in the daily execution of procedures.

  • Promote and work within a team environment

  • Learn new skills, procedures and processes as assigned by management and continue to develop professionally.

  • Review and understand non-conformance

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years minimum of experience working as a test technician.

  • HS Diploma or GED legible copy and documentable.
