Kelly Services Accounting Assistant in Neenah, Wisconsin

Hours: Office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

  • Responsible for performing financial accounting and clerical functions for seven Restaurants.

  • Provide assistance and information to Restaurant Managers, Supervisors, Office Manager and Owner.

Skills Required:

  • Analytical, problem-solver.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time.

  • Organized with attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll: Input and maintain payroll records for hourly employees. Process bi-weekly payroll and review calculations to ensure accuracy. Complete information requested for employment verification. ?

  • Accounts Payable: Review and determine general ledger classification of invoices for restaurant expenses. Perform data entry in accounts payable system for payment.

  • Financial Statements: Gather and analyze information for month-end journal entries. Generate Balance Sheet and Profit/Loss reports for each location. Review financials for reasonableness, working with restaurant managers and supervisors to answer questions.

  • Bank Reconciliations: Check deposit activity recorded by restaurants with that reported by the bank to ensure accuracy. Account for outstanding items and reconcile balances monthly.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
