What’s a typical day as an Accounting Specialist? You’ll be:

• Managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.

• Managing accounts payable processes, including entering bills, paying bills, and reconciling vendor statements.

• Managing daily shipping function including booking shipments, preparing bills of lading, and generating customer invoices.

• Communicating with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment arrangements, and account discrepancies.

• Maintaining and updating customer and vendor files.

• Reconciling and preparing daily bank deposits.

• Assisting with month-end close and year-end close processes.

• Assisting in preparing financial reports and analysis.

• Helping with gathering information for audits and tax preparation.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Have excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).

• Have 2-5+ years of relevant accounting experience (preferred).
