Kelly Services Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk in Santa Cruz, California
Kelly Services has an immediate opportunity in Santa Cruz for a Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk. This is a long term role with opportunity for hire with an amazing Santa Cruz institution. The AR Clerk will be supporting the Accounting team in receipt and accounting of funds being paid. This person will ensure invoices are accurate and proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization.

Overall Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Apply customer payments
Research and solve payment discrepancies
Process credit card payments and credits
Make adjustments to accounts as needed
Prepare manual deposits as required
Assist with customer billing and reporting
Assist AR Lead with general accounting functions
Competencies & Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Experience in Accounts Receivable highly desired but not required
Excellent attention to detail
Stellar communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to work effectively as a team
Strong office computer knowledge is required, applicants must have experience with an ERP system and Excel
Consistently exercise sound judgment and discretion
