Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced bilingual Turret Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for efficiently putting freight away in the proper locations. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a turret and the ability to lift heavy objects. This position requires fluent Spanish speaking operators or operators that are bilingual in Spanish and English. Job Specifications:

• Job Type: Full-time

• Location: Savannah, GA 31419

• Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.

• Shift: 1 st Shift, 8:00am to 4:30pm, working OT each day if needed to complete orders

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Warehouse Lead to ensure smooth operations

• Spend 80-90% of the time working in your area of expertise or assigned area

• Dedicate 10-20% of the time to troubleshooting issues within your area

• Handle tasks such as receiving, put away, picking, cycle counting, and shipping orders as needed

• Ensure products are stored in an organized manner upon receiving and scanned correctly and promptly

• Properly operate and maintain the Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

• Communicate with the Warehouse Lead in case of any delays or bottlenecks in freight handling

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the warehouse by organizing racking and keeping the floor space clear

• Utilize strategic, creative, and innovative thinking to improve processes

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a turret

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more

• Fluent in Spanish or bilingual in English and Spanish – required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
