Kelly Services PPMC -Planned Preventative Maintenance Coordinator in Seadrift, Texas

Kelly Engineering is currently seeking an experienced PPMC (Planned Preventative Maintenance Coordinator) in the Seadrift, Texas area! The PPMC provides input into the development of the maintenance strategy on those issues dealing with PPM and owns/manages Maintenance Management System (MMS) with respect to PPM. The PPMC will also act as the local focal point on the CMMS system for the PPM space.

Responsibilities

  • In cooperation with the Reliability Engineer or Maintenance Engineer / Technologist, gathers appropriate PPM information to be performed on existing or new equipment through research of vendor information, project team members, discipline subject matter experts, modeling outputs, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) tools, results of historical data, etc

  • Utilizes the Most Effective Technology where applicable: EOPD-Task List, EMS, etc..

  • Performs as quality control check on all PPM creations, changes and deletions prior to sending to MDA for final change in system.

  • Perform quality control check on newly generated PPM work orders and update header information including correct titling convention, task list details, etc; all before handing off to the field planner. (depending on local operating discipline and system configuration)

  • Perform a quality control check on all Equipment technical data: creation, change and deletion; prior to sending to MDA for final change in system.

  • Perform a quality control check on all MRO creations, changes and deletions prior to sending to MRO Coders for final change in system. (This may vary by site)

  • Manage all equipment Bill of Material (BOM)-parts lists

  • Ensures that scheduled services are entered into the MMS based upon the equipment maintenance strategy or reviews of new equipment that is being installed.

  • Uses “quality feedback” from the Person Doing Work to optimize the task lists Carry out field check when needed (varies per site determination)

  • Identify/solicit safety information (PUP, SWP and hazard awareness) and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks. (Document links or long text) Identify task list operations activities necessary to execute job plan.

  • Work with MDA on maintenance plans and items. Assure plan and item data is properly documented.

  • Participates in routine and special PPM optimization activities

  • Updates materials/manpower estimates/tools/equipment/documents (procedures) required to perform operations on PPM task list based on various feedback sources (i.e. closure report, audit form, planner inputs, etc.)

  • A resource that provides input to the planner when PPM clarification is needed (depending on local operating discipline and system configuration)

  • Maintains “Reason for Maintenance Item” (Why we are doing PPM including long text special notes)

  • Assists during root cause investigations where PPM practices have been identified as a potential cause. The PPM coordinator gathers and provides data, procedures, etc. as requested.

  • Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy: Specific activity based on site specific work process or local practices

  • Supports the requirement that all Planned PPM job packages will have a 1) procedure or, 2) the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the PPM job package is released to for system usage.

  • If a procedure does not exist, follow organizations Non-Existent Procedure Process to obtain a procedure.

  • Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy: General

  • May be asked to perform technical reviews of procedures

  • May serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review

  • Supports development of the “Procedure Exemption List”

  • Creates/develops/changes/updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure MOC’s as required.

  • Tracks compliance of completion of PPM tasks and advises the Plant Leadership and Reliability Engineer of any issues impacting the effectiveness of the PPM program.

  • Master Data Administrator (MDA) interface/coordination including Basic Finish Date edits as a result of the Deferral Process at the site

  • Identifies opportunities to adjust PPM intervals and works with the Reliability Engineer and equipment owner to evaluate the impact of changing PPM intervals upon probability and consequences (i.e. risk, deficiency order creation, feedback form usage depending local operating discipline and system configuration)

  • Provide as needed technical input in developing the maintenance budget. PPM coordinator may be asked to run IP19 or IP31 which show labor and overall cost forecasts for PPM.
