Shift: 3rd Sunday-Thursday 7:30pm-4am plus OT

Pay: 17.50/hr

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Packing orders and creating shipments in the system

• Processing orders based on vendor and customer routing guides

• Working with planners and customer service to ensure correct shipment routing

• Updating and providing tracking information for shipments

• Preparing and printing shipping labels and BOLs

• Arranging and scheduling carrier pickups

• Resolving issues quickly and effectively

• Receiving incoming materials and verifying receipt against shipping documents

• Transferring materials using mobile equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Entering material transfers into the computer system

• Ensuring required materials are staged in the production area

• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of storage areas

• Stocking levels of consumable materials

• Properly labeling all required material

• Conducting inventory reconciliation and implementing corrective actions

• Providing detailed records and reports to end users and management

• Assisting with cycle counts process

• Driving process improvement

• Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 1-2 years of related experience in materials or manufacturing/logistics

• Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Possess basic analytical skills

• Are proficient with Microsoft products

• Have a deep expertise in end-to-end materials operations

• Can lift up to 35 lbs. and team lift up to 55 lbs., and push/pull up to 125 lbs.

• Can stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Are comfortable working in a high-noise environment

• Are able to work full-time Sunday-Thursday and overtime when required

• Have a strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety policies
