Kelly Services Production Associates in Superior, Wisconsin

We are seeking a Production Associate for our client in the Food Production Industry in Superior, WI. This is a permanent opportunity with 3 day weekends! This is an entry level position with no previous experience required.

Pay rate: $17.50 per hour

Schedule: M - TH 7AM - 5PM

Duties of the Production Associate:

• Follows verbal instruction from the machine operator, leads, and management

• Follows all safety procedures and practices

• Sanitizes bottles before packaging

• Works directly on the bottle and case packaging line

• Operates equipment properly (filling machine, metal detection, conveyor)

• Follows all bottle packaging protocols

• Assembles cartons

• Places product into the cartons in a predetermined fashion

• Understands and operates a case taping machine

• Performs routine cleaning assignments (sweeping, moping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, etc.)

• Reads and checks that product is properly labeled

• Follow quality control procedures and checks

• Fill out paperwork properly

• Follow daily and weekly preventative maintenance (lubrication of machine, master sanitation, metal detection, etc.)

• Ability to test water chemistry and adjust as needed

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels

• Ability to complete assigned jobs in a timely manner

• Attends and participates in all training programs required by the company

• Demonstrated attendance and work reliability

• Demonstrates “good citizenship” and safety awareness

• Works on a flexible schedule as needed

Requirements:

Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift.

Ability to stand for long periods.

Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements.

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to work well within teams.
