ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ANALYTICAL R&D
Lead, guide and coach, which leading process improvements and supporting projects in development, submission and post-submission phases. This includes oversight of pre-formulation and analytical development/validation work, while developing team leaders as well as Chemists and Scientists.
Coach, guide and motivate team, while monitoring, measuring and optimizing analytical development cycle time.
Contribute to DOE in all Analytical development work conducted by the reporting team.
Maintain work reporting system and matrix for all analytical development work.
Ensure effective data review process, timeliness and assignments in Analytical GMP activities.
Ensure timely completion of projects based on defined deadlines.
Liaise with teams to strengthen collaboration with analytical development team.
M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with 10 years of pharmaceutical/analytical laboratory experience in leadership. A Ph.D. in Chemistry with 5 years of pharma/ analytical lab experience as a leader is preferred.
Proficiency in analytical, organic and physical chemistry as well as instrumentation in the Analytical R&D Lab.
Noted leadership skills - ability to effectively communicate, motivate employees and obtain results in a team based environment.
Effective in planning and on-time delivery of tasks.
Strong knowledge of GMP’s, GLP’s and SOP’s.
Relevant knowledge of FDA/ICH/TPP guidelines.
