Vaccine Production Lab Tech – Verona, WI

We currently have direct hire Vaccine Production Laboratory Technician positions in Verona, WI. This is a full-time position where you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K; as well as paid time off-- including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time.

Technicians assist in tissue and viral culture for vaccine production in a clean room laboratory environment. Viral cultures are then harvested, batched, and filled.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare growth medium to be used during vaccine production.

• Basic tissue and viral culturing.

• Procedures take place under a Grade A Laminar Air Flow hood in a clean room laboratory.

• All laboratory processes must be performed aseptically.

• Requires daily gowning with sterile hooded coveralls, goggles, face masks, two pairs of gloves, and clean room boot coverings.

• The ability to understand and follow Laboratory SOPs.

• All procedures must be thoroughly documented.

• Work closely with other technicians.

Qualifications:

• Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English.

• Squatting, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills all required.

• Associates in a life science field preferred, but not required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in GMP preferred, but not required.

• Prefer experience working while preventing contamination, such as medical work, or aseptic sample handling.
