Now Hiring: Clerical Receptionist in Waimea

Pay Rate: $26/hr

Contract role: 3 months

Job Type: This position is ONSITE. Only accepting candidates who are within commuting distance to Waimea.

Job Summary

The Clinic Receptionist I (Regional) welcomes patients, collects data, schedules appointments, manages medical records, and handles various clerical duties. This role requires working weekends/holidays and floating to different clinic sites as needed.

Schedule

  • Positions 1 & 2: Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM

  • Position 3: Monday - Sunday; 8 AM - 8 PM

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, obtain and update information, schedule appointments, and maintain confidentiality.

  • Prepare fee tickets, handle payments, input revenue data, and manage medical records.

  • Answer phones, handle mail, inventory supplies, and maintain a clean reception area.

  • Follow up on patient referrals, unpaid accounts, and insurance issues.

  • Develop letters/memoranda, order office supplies, and coordinate interpreter services.

  • Work weekends and float to clinic sites as needed, maintain compliance with health requirements, and assist in emergencies.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: Two years of clerical work.

  • Skills: Knowledge of office practices, ability to make arithmetic computations, handle confidential information, and excellent customer service.
