Kelly Services is seeking a Test Operator to join a Electronic Technology company located in Melbourne, FL

Summary

You will be responsible for testing products using specific test fixtures and tools. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure the accuracy and quality of the testing process. As a Test Operator, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our company by performing inspection, test setup, and operation, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the work area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in electronics and a passion for quality testing.

Job Specifications:

• Pay Rate: $18.5/hour

• Shift: 2nd 3:30pm- 11:30pm

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, product-specific test setup, and operation

• Follow product-specific test procedures

• Enter test results in the quality system and interpret test diagnostics

• Label and route product to the next level in the process

• Identify and report defective components

• Assemble and/or program circuit board assemblies as required

• Ensure the accuracy of work-in-process associated with the work cell

• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and surrounding workspace

• Participate in Quality team meetings as required

• Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures

• Maintain ESD integrity within the production environment

• May train other employees

• Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education

• 1+ years of experience in electronics, specifically in a test environment preferred

• Knowledge of PCB assembly, product assembly processes, component value identification, and other component nomenclature

• Capable of performing job functions utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids

• Basic computer skills, problem-solving, and workstation skills

• Ability to operate in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic teamwork environment

• Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary
